Boellium Training Institute
Building maintenance & superintendent training

A world-class, hands-on pathway into building maintenance and superintendent careers. Taught by working contractors, on real buildings, in English and French.

Next cohort forming. Join the interest list. Cohort seats are confirmed through our employer and partner programs. No payment to join. We'll contact you with dates and next steps. We are building delivery partnerships with registered training providers and Employment Ontario network organizations.

Most people enter building management with no formal training. We're changing that. A stackable, competency-based program takes you from the basics to a job, and gives you a head start toward credentials the whole industry respects.

You can start at the Foundations level and stack your way up to Certified Residential Superintendent, adding specialist skills along the way. Employers can also buy a single cohort to upskill their existing staff.

How our training is delivered

Industry-run practical training, delivered three ways

Boellium Training Institute is an industry training program, not a college. Practical, employer-connected training, taught by working contractors.

Employer-sponsored cohorts

Custom cohorts delivered directly for an employer's own staff: condos, property managers, housing providers and facilities teams upskilling their in-house maintenance team.

Partner & funded pathways

Where eligible, we are building supported and funded pathways delivered together with registered training providers and Employment Ontario network organizations.

Short practical workshops (coming)

Short, low-cost, hands-on workshops on specific skills. In development, part of our roadmap.

Our vision

A direct path into stable, well-paying careers

Boellium Training Institute exists to give low-income Canadians, newcomers, and career changers a direct, practical path into stable, well-paying careers.

Our four-week program closes that gap. It's short, affordable, and flexible. Built for people who can't commit to long or costly college programs.

Our mission is to remove barriers and build pathways. We combine practical training, workplace experience, career coaching, mentorship, and employer connections. Graduates leave with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to succeed in Canada's growing facilities and property industries.

Level 3

Certified Residential Superintendent

The people & admin layer: Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 and tenant relations, leasing & turnovers, building administration, budgets & reporting, vendor management, emergency response and de-escalation. Plus a supervised one-week on-site placement.

Pathway: IFMA FMP · BOMI SMA

Add-ons

BOMI & IFMA pathway mapping shown above is our roadmap, not a current accreditation. See below.

Why it's world-class

A real pathway, not just a certificate

Our program is designed to map toward the credentials the building-operations industry recognizes. You leave with a Boellium certificate and a head start toward the rest.

BOMI SMT / SMA

Systems Maintenance Technician and Administrator designations — the building-systems standard.

IFMA FMP

Facility Management Professional: the entry credential from the world's largest facility-management body.

Boellium is building toward registration and partnerships to deliver these pathways. Credential alignment is our roadmap, not a current accreditation.
